Inspired by one of the artist’s ancestors, Company Four will tell Mary Ann Barker's story, who, in 1900 suffered Postpartum Psychosis after the birth of her son, Jack (brought to life as a Bunraku puppet). Alongside this, with support from Action on Postpartum Psychosis, this show will explore modern stories and experiences of mothers who have lived experience of this still stigmatised mental illness. Please Wait In The Foyer Please Wait In The Foyer is a series of arts, music and theatre based workshops for young people with experience of care and homelessness in Greater Manchester. The project focusses on the participants interests giving them the opportunity to explore mediums in the arts that they do not have any or sufficient access to.
